Stanley Pickle Wins LA Shorts!

Stanley Pickle directed by Victoria Mather, has won Best Experimental Film at the 14th LA Shorts Fest
– hot on the heels of its success at the Edinburgh Film Festival, where it recently won the McLaren award for Best Animation.

Vicky (left) & actress Haruka Abe (far left) attended the screening and came away excited by the "laughter and a great response from our first American audience!".



This award qualifies Stanley Pickle to be judged for next years Oscars!

Prague
The Boy Who Wanted To Be A Lion directed by Alois Di Leo has been selected for the student festival of Karlovy Vary, Fresh Film Festival in Prague.

Hiroshima
The Henhouse directed by Elena Pomares and The Boy Who Wanted To Be a Lion directed by Alois Di Leo, bothe have their Asian Premieres at the prestigious Hiroshima International animation Festival.

Anima Mundi
Stanley Pickle Directed by Victoria Mather, The Boy who wanted to be a Lion directed by Alois di Leo, Zbigniev's Cupboard directed by Magdalena Osinska and Cooked by Jens Blank have all been selected for the important Anima Mundi International Animation Festival.

Stanley Pickle, directed by 2010 graduate Victoria Mather (left), has won the coveted McLaren Award for New British Short Animation at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, where it had its world premiere.

The Henhouse (right) directed by Elena Pomares has won BEST ANIMATION at the Alaska International Film Festival.

Stand Up directed by 2005 graduate Joe Pierce has won Best Screenplay at the Animage II International Festival of Animated Film, Pernambuco Brazil.


The Tailor's Kiss directed by 2005 graduate Joana Bartolomeu has won the award for the Best Puppet film in The World Festival of Puppet Art 2010 in Prague!

Best Student Film at the British Animation Awards, Special Mention at the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film & Best Post-Grad Animation at the Royal Television Society Awards
