Second Breath with sculptor Maurice Blik.
An installation/performance project with composer Alex Balanescu

Play- Ballets Russes on the beach 1936-1940. Afilm using colour archive footage playing with the movements of solo performaers of the Ballets Russes as they play on a beach in Sydney Australia.

Second Breath and Play are touring as live performance with the Balanescu Quartet. See the Second Breath website above.

Career started in 1967 as an Assistant Animator on YELLOW SUBMARINE , followed by ten years work on animated TV series and commercials.

In1977 founded Leeds Animation Workshop to produce educational and issue based films. Films have been screened at many festivals around the world. Personal work over the last five years explores Film / Dance and Digital Manipulation. Teaching Animation has always been a parallel commitment with film making.

Part time/full time lecturer for many years on BA courses at Surrey Institute and Humberside University.

Head of the Animation Direction MA at the National Film and Television School from 1996 -2008.
