After
winning a competition on the now extinct TV show Rolfs cartoon
club, I decided a BA Hons degree in Animation to be the next
logical career move. Studied at UWCN (Newport). Made several
films of varied techniques cumulating in a music promo for Scottish
band 'The Delgados', and a 3D stop motion film 'Scrap3:30'.
In
my first year at the NFTS I made a film about a childhood
memory, "Martin's Project" which inter-cut 3D model and live
action sequences. For my graduation project I am making another
3D model film, - a black comedy about a young boy trying to
fulfil his grans birthday wish. The film will utilise contemporary
live action and music promo techniques within the medium of
animation.
