John-Paul
experimented with film while taking a degree in painting and
stayed on to learn about digital media. After a year teaching
at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, he did a four-year
stint in Soho, as a 3D visual effects artist in film and commercials
post-production, with arts and dance projects in his free
time, to keep the creative juices bubbling. He came to the
School to explore story-based narrative and flourished in
the atmosphere of peer group mutual brain-picking. In his
future work, John-Paul plans to continue using story as a
means to explore ideas.
