| Jack Tilley
Born in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire in '87, I escaped the drudgery of living in a cultureless semi-city by watching Disney films, Gerry Anderson puppetry, Warner Bros. cartoons and terribly mind-rotting video games in tape and cartridge form.
My first animated pieces came when I was twelve, animating fake movie title sequences and abstract nonsensicles using Microsoft Paint and Paint Shop Pro's ‘Animation shop' software I copied from a school computer.
From there it goes-
-GCSE art project titled ‘Animating' in which I created an 8-frame walk cycle of a copied cartoon character design which I called Bob due to a couple of bad drawings.
-National Diploma in Multimedia at Stamford College, which had a project involving basic animation at some point during the two years of study (Beat that A-level Art!).
- BA in Animation at the UCA in Farnham, Surrey (The course best known for Skillset accreditation and a higher population density than Calcutta).
-MA Animation Direction at the NFTS
