Fumi
Inoue has been fascinated by small worlds ever since she
was a child. At Tokyo university of Art and Design, she
was amazed by model animation techniques that gave movement
to the static miniature world. After she graduated, she
assisted Japanese puppet animators creating children's programs
and commercials.
She decided to study abroad to improve her animation skills
and confidence. Fumi believes the UK offers the best opportunity
to study model animation. While at the NFTS, she wants to
explore different combinations of animation techniques.
"Gaijin" (Foreigner) is her graduation film.
