Born in exotic Guildford in 1984, I rebelled at school by using my exercise books to draw spaceships and castles, much to my teacher's dissatisfaction.
After a brief hiatus where I pursued a career as an astronaut, I decided that drawing was the best thing to be doing so I did a BA in Illustration & Animation at Kingston. It was here where I discovered that making my drawings move and speak and tell stories was the best use of my overactive imagination.
Following the completion of my graduation film, ‘Oh God No', I have kept pretty busy, with Illustrations published in a few industry magazines, I have also co-directed an animated film for Mira Calix's piece ‘Ort-Oard', a commission by the London Sinfonietta.
Wanting to take my film-making further, NFTS was clearly a great place to be, so here I am!
